Governments and Coronavirus | Update 2: Understanding the citizen perspective in the G7 nations
As the world battles the ongoing challenges from the coronavirus health crisis, Kantar is monitoring the impact the pandemic is having on people’s lives and personal finances.

Our G7 public opinion study is the first to assess COVID-19’s economic impact on both individuals and households. It also looks at how people view their government’s communications and actions.

The second wave of our study will allow us to understand how society’s responses to this period of uncertainty are evolving over time – as well as assessing the perceived long-term impacts on people’s lives and on the national economy.
To find out more, join our next webinar where Dr Michelle Harrison, Global CEO for Kantar's Public Division, reveals the latest insights from our study. Michelle will focus on exploring how the balance between health and economic impacts are being understood by G7 citizens, and assess their support for government actions as the pandemic deepens.

Michelle will be joined by Christy Tanner, Executive Vice President of CBS News Digital, to discuss the study findings and implications for governments, society and households.

Date: Monday 20 April 2020
Time: 3pm GMT / 10am EST
Duration: 1h15 (30-min presentation and 45-min Q&A)

If you are unable to join the live session, you can still register, and we will send you the recording afterwards. In the meantime, should you have any questions about our G7 Citizen Impact study or COVID-19 Response and Recovery programme, don’t hesitate to email us.
